Its glow increases even more when exposed to light.

(Baccarat Tableware Catalogue, 1916 Edition)

A similar model was already featured in the 1916 Baccarat tableware catalogue.

Since production continued after that, it must have been a popular design.

The straight lines and form that exude an Art Deco vibe give off a beautiful and sophisticated impression.

All corners are chamfered, demonstrating Baccarat's careful and meticulous approach to craftsmanship and high level of technical skill.

By the way, do you know the mysterious Japanese restaurant "Misenkyo"?
This popular series in Fujingaho is set in a mysterious Japanese restaurant called "Misenkyo" with only four seats located somewhere in Tokyo. Photographer and contemporary artist Sugimoto Hiroshi plays the role of the restaurant's owner, showing off his cooking skills, providing tableware and floor decorations from his antique art collection, and inviting guests from a variety of genres to join him .

The results were later compiled and published in a book titled "Hobbies and Art," so if you're interested, be sure to check it out.

Among them, the tableware and alcove are changed for each guest, but all the chopstick rests are made of glass.
Since Sugimoto is someone who pays attention to detail, we imagine he chose to use transparent glass chopstick rests to highlight the food and tableware.

Glass chopstick rests are versatile as they can be used with any dish.
The 12 pieces we are introducing this time were originally made as cutlery rests, but they also look great when used as chopstick rests like this.

With its simple triangular design, it will play an important role in highlighting the cutlery, tableware, and food on the table.

There is an engraving on each side.

Baccarat engravings vary depending on the era, but this one dates from the 1960s to 1980s .

One of the pieces has a mark less than 1mm in size in one spot on the bottom, but this is on the bottom and cannot be seen when in use, so it is not noticeable.

Also, because this is a practical item, there are some scratches, but they do not detract from the brilliance of the crystal and it is in good condition.

Comes in a crimson original box.

This set of 12 is perfect for large groups of guests.

It goes well with any type of cuisine, whether Japanese, Western or Chinese, and with any cutlery.

Please use it for everyday meals and special occasions.
