■Currency Display & Payment

Our online store uses Shopify Payments’ local currency display and checkout system.

When accessing the site from Japan, prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY).
When accessing from overseas, prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD). This follows common international e-commerce practices.

For international orders, the product price is fixed in USD based on the exchange rate at the time the order is confirmed, and payment is processed through your selected payment provider.

Due to currency conversion methods or fees charged by payment services or card issuers, the final amount billed by your card company may differ slightly from the displayed price.

These conditions apply to orders from Mainland China, Hong Kong, EU countries, and other international locations.

■Shipping Methods

Unless otherwise specified, international orders are shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service).
If you prefer a courier service such as DHL, we can request a shipping quotation from the carrier.
Once the quotation is approved, shipping costs will be invoiced separately from the product price.
Please note that items valued at over 2,000,000 JPY cannot be shipped via EMS, and courier services will be used instead.

Shipping charges include:
 • Shipping fee
 • Handling fee
 • Insurance

(If no carrier is specified, we will suggest DHL or a professional art shipping company.)

 4. The item will be shipped after the shipping payment is confirmed.

If you would like to receive a shipping estimate before placing your order, please contact us via our inquiry form.

■ Import Duties & Taxes

For international shipments, import duties, customs fees, VAT, or other taxes are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

All such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tax amounts vary by country or region, so we recommend confirming your local customs regulations in advance.

These charges are usually collected by the shipping carrier during customs clearance or upon delivery.

■ Important Notes for International Shipping

 • Due to the nature of antique items, returns cannot be accepted. Please review all item descriptions and photos carefully before placing your order.
 • If there is any obvious damage during transport, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
 • Undervaluation or other illegal customs declarations cannot be accommodated.
 • Ownership and risk transfer to the buyer once the item has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
 • Some antique items may require an Export Inspection Certificate for Cultural Properties. Obtaining this certificate may take several weeks.

■Country-Specific Information

[Mainland China]
 • Import procedures for antiques and artworks into Mainland China can be complex due to customs regulations and tax systems.
 • Additional documentation or inspection may be required during customs clearance, which may result in longer delivery times.
 • Customers who have access to warehouses or forwarding services in Hong Kong or Japan may experience smoother delivery by using those locations as the shipping destination.
 • If direct shipping to Mainland China is required, we may recommend shipping methods with established logistics networks within China. Please contact us before placing an order.

[European Union]
 • Imports into EU countries are subject to VAT (Value Added Tax).
 • VAT rates vary by country. The tax is usually paid to the shipping carrier upon delivery, after being advanced by the carrier.
 • VAT is not included in our product prices or shipping costs.

[Hong Kong]
 • Antiques are generally not subject to import duties in Hong Kong.
 • Customs clearance is typically smooth and efficient.

United States
 • Due to measures introduced by the U.S. government, EMS shipments containing goods valued over USD 100 to the United States have been temporarily suspended since August 27, 2025.
▶️Temporary suspension of acceptance of mail destined for the United States due to changes in U.S. tariffs and regulations (Japan Post website)

 • Therefore, orders to the United States will be shipped via courier services such as DHL.
 • When placing an order, please select “Request a Quote” at checkout.
 • Even if EMS is selected, we may recommend switching to a courier service.
