This tray is made of black and brown lacquer and is decorated with various flower patterns using lacquer lacquer.

On the black background, the sawabun and bellflower patterns are painted in gold lacquer with a realistic touch.
The contrast between black and gold is clear.

Silver powder is sprinkled all over the brown area, and a cherry blossom pattern is created by scattering it on top.

The process of applying lacquer and polishing is repeated, and the tray is actually very elaborately made.
The most attractive feature is the stylish design that does not give you an impression of the complicated process.

There are some scratches typical of old lacquer, but it has not been repaired and is in very good condition.
