Two herons standing by the water or on a rocky outcrop are painted in the deep blue and white style typical of Ai-Kutani.

The herons are all staring intently to the left.
One of the birds has its mouth wide open, probably depicting it hunting prey.

A scene that stimulates the viewer's imagination is beautifully expressed on a small plate.

It seems to have been painted by an experienced potter. The painting is smooth and flowing, with no unnecessary lines, and is neatly organized.
The two birds' carefree appearance is so adorable that you can't help but squint your eyes.
The fluffy feathers on the belly are also well-expressed.

The only motifs visible are herons.
The key point is that it is simple and easy to use as tableware.
It will accept whatever you put on it.

The reverse side features two floral designs with scattered pine needles, and a circular line runs all the way around the side of the base.

It is deformed into a shape similar to a quince, and has a soft, angular appearance.

The condition is good and there are no scratches.
