Blue and white porcelain bottle with lotus petal design
This is a 19th century Joseon Dynasty small jar with a lovely colonized form.
It is a lovely piece that fits comfortably in the hand, and can be said to be a beauty in the hand.
Simply drawn lotus petals.
This thinness is just the right amount. It creates a neat and tidy impression.
If they were drawn more darkly, they would give a different impression.
It looks good against the bluish white skin.
I wonder if it was originally used as a cosmetic tool.
In modern times, it can be used as a tea container or a small flower container.
The price is being offered at a reduced price because it was given to us in a batch from a collector's former collection.
The condition is also good.
There are a few very small chips on the mouth and a 2.5cm long hairline crack, but this is not a problem with Joseon Dynasty vases.
The cover is made of Indian chintz with a plant design.
The vivid chintz is colored in red and indigo.
The beautiful bluish Joseon Dynasty skin is further enhanced.
