This is a work in which a standing statue of Amida Nyorai is enshrined within a small zushi (miniature shrine) approximately 11 cm tall.

When you open the doors, the figure of Amida appears in the back of a serene space. The statue itself is only about 6 cm tall. Although small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, it possesses a dignified presence and refined form.

Particularly striking is the sharp and focused expression around the eyes. Despite being a small statue, the facial features are well-proportioned, conveying a sense of strong will within its gentle demeanor. The drapery lines are not mere lines but are carved with gentle undulations, showing a realistic expression that suggests the contours of the body. Within its limited size, it firmly possesses the dignity and presence of a Buddhist statue.

On the lotus pedestal at the feet, each petal line is drawn with gold, and although slightly faded now, its traces can still be discerned. This indicates that even the smallest parts were meticulously decorated. A circular halo is provided inside the zushi, forming the space.

It is a Buddhist statue that one would want to quietly place somewhere close and open the doors to gaze upon from time to time. It can be said to be a presence that quietly accompanies you in your daily life.
