Koryo earthenware jar
A Silla earthenware jar with a beautiful thin, supple line running from the mouth to the body.
The underbelly form, which imitates metalware with thin walls, has strong elements of the Goryeo period and seems to have been produced at the beginning of the Goryeo period, continuing the tradition of Silla earthenware.
There are three old chips, large and small, on the mouth, but otherwise it is in good condition and does not leak when filled directly with water.
The narrow mouth makes it easy to arrange flowers. This is an important point to consider when choosing a vase.
The rustic texture unique to earthenware brings out the beauty of wildflowers.
