White porcelain in the Kakiemon style, known as “Nigoshide," has an attractive milky, soft silhouette.

This piece allows you to fully appreciate the warm milky white color of the porcelain.

The size is about 18 and you can feel its solid thickness.

The inner part of the plate is lowered and angled to give a sharp impression.

Looking into the inside, one can see a embossing pattern by carving.

People dressed in Chinese-style costumes are gathered around the pavilion, happily holding up a windmill-like object, and seemingly teaching a lesson.

The rim is delicately decorated with autumn leaves and autumn grasses, which surround the inner design. The floral pattern on the rim is very Japanese in contrast to the Chinese-style design of the inside.

White porcelain carved designs may not stand out as much depending on the firing process, but this piece allows the viewer to enjoy the details of the design.

The way the design appears changes depending on the angle and the way the light hits it, and the pictorial design seems casual.

The old box in which the plate is housed bears the inscription “白高麗(White Goryo).

In the old days, even domestic white porcelain was sometimes referred to as “白高麗(White Goryo).

This is a piece to be enjoyed in daily life as tableware, not to mention for appreciation.

Exotic dishes seem to go well with it.

It would be a great conversation starter if you sit around such a bowl.

In this work, there is a slight color spotting called "Kemuri (Gray stain)" that surrounds the person in the lower left corner of the inside. (The red dotted line in the above photo)
Since it is not so conspicuous, this is recommended for those who want to purchase a little cheaper.

We have 5 pieces of the same design in stock, and 4 pieces other than this one are good condition.
